Even though I think we only met a grand total of two times, I still remember them very fondly. I like to think there's a world where my family stayed in London and we became very good mates!
Music to my (slightly hard of hearing due to standing next to speakers) ears. I just don’t have enough time left on this Earth for surface saccharine friendships. I want proper connection with all the reports of both misery and joy that brings. In fact, is there any other version of friendship? If there is, surely they’re just acquaintance-ships?
And who has time for that?! I feel guilty enough about not properly maintaining my actual friendships; I don't need stress about how to keep random acquaintances happy.
Please never change! I remember being introduced to you in some agency meeting room and I was like, "Oh! Some people who work in these cool places where they have pinball machines and chill-out areas* are friendly!" (no shade on other agency folk, I just always felt like the provincial cousin in the city during that time of my life!)
*Disclaimer: I can't remember if the pinball machine was actually in your office
Oh bless you, I'm really glad you felt that! I liked you straight away! And we didn't have a pinball machine, but we had definite pinball machine vibes so same old.
Always.
❤️

They were two really fun times and I remember them fondly too! Consider yourself friended.
